Sponsor Thanks

I want to take a moment and thank the sponsors and some individuals who are helping Racing for Recovery tremendously. First of all, my former coach Jim Cooper from Cooper-Smith Advertising for financially supporting the cost of creating the book. It would not have made it to the shelves without him. To Rob Krieger from Checker Inc. for your continued support of me and this program. Thanks for your travel assistance which enables me to do what I do out there. To the vice president of the Racing for Recovery board Dr. Agee and Sylvania Family Physicians, Thanks for all of your support and to your husband Scott from Northwest Provider Solutions. Also to the companies who are helping me with product. Kuji sports, Recover-Ease and PUMA. You guys keep me out there racing and I appreciate your support.

Special thanks to Cephalon Pharmaceuticals who is having me speak for the company on Tuesday, March 28. They just bought 300 books and I am honored and thankful for your support.

Lastly, thank you to Runner's World Magazine for covering this book in the April issue of your great publication. You have made thousands of people aware of this program and it is greatly appreciated.

Quick story here. I was working with Emmis Publishing 1.5 years ago regarding a book deal. I jumped through many hoops to make it happen and just when I thought they were going to finalize a deal they said no. I just got the word that they are going out of business which is sad but I am thankful that we did not reach a deal or this story might never have gotten out to the public. Things happen for a reason and Emmis saying no gave my current friend and publisher Garth from Breakaway books, a chance to say yes. Thanks Garth.

Todd
